Interclub Competition Sherborne v Yeovil Agility

On the 5th August we invited Yeovil Agility Club to our training ground for a fun and informal inter club match. We had 25 competitors from the two clubs competing, marked on faults only for agility and steeplechase courses. Both courses were set by myself with the aim of them being achievable for anyone but with some interest for our more experienced competitors. There were some fantastic performances from both sides and all levels, with some competitors only having started training this year. As you can see, there was a good rising spread across the results in agility, with Sherborne hurdling ahead it in the small steeplechase and Yeovil jumping high in the large class (I’ll stop with the puns now as it’s getting tyred and I am struggling to weave any more in…). After the competition, members of both clubs got together for a buffet tea provided by all which proved to be a very enjoyable end to the evening. With thanks to the club members who worked hard to make this happen and also to Yeovil and in particular to Nicki for organising her club and Nicola for judging the steeplechase.
